Woodpeckers Reviews
Fantastic place to stay Being greeted with a cup of tea on arrival was a good first impression, the well appointed accommodation I was shown to was the second. Rooms are separate to the main house and are of a very high quality. Breakfast was more than ample and the owner Sue was very pleasant. Thanks for a great stay. SB October 2010
Fantastic Fantastic little B+B. A little out of the way (signage from the main road could be improved) but well worth the effort. John M September 2010
First Rate Accommodation You would be hard put to find somewhere better to stay. The breakfast will keep you full all day. Very nice & helpful hosts. First rate on all fronts. John Barber August 2010. A relaxing stay at Woodpeckers, Romsey We were made very welcome by Sue who was an excellent hostess. The room was very comfortable and we had all that we needed. The area was very peaceful and scenic. We would certainly go back there again. Jenny S August 2010
Stunning accomodation Absolutely one of the best or the best B&B we have ever stayed in,not your normal room in a house but a lodge with living room for yourselves. Breakfast was huge and incredibly tasty. Sue and Brian are very welcoming and polite. I would definately go back here and will certainly recommend to others. Well earned 5 stars at a good price too. Almost self contained! I had a wonderful evening and good nights sleep in this gem of a B&B. The 'Green Woodpecker' suite I stayed in included a well furnished and decorated lounge, bedroom and shower room. There was a DVD player and assortment of DVDs. There were several types of tea, decaf coffee and bisuits. It was very, very convenient for Mottisfont Abbey. Sue P July 2010
